The Abacot Ranger was founded between 1917 and 1922 by  Friday Wood, Colchester in United Kingdom Mr. Oscar Gray of Abacot Duck Ranch,The name 'Ranch' is derived from Mr. Gray's home in Abbott's Cottages.
